Island-Inspired Café Bar

A light filled day-to-night café bar designed to capture the easy rhythm of Caribbean life.

Airy textures, natural materials and soft coastal tones come together to create a warm, welcoming setting that transitions seamlessly from morning coffee to evening cocktails. Thoughtfully responding to the constraints of a new-build shell, the design encourages guests to linger, connect and unwind, balancing laid-back island charm with contemporary elegance.

The layout was carefully planned to support natural flow and flexibility throughout the day, with a variety of seating zones and layered lighting guiding the shift from relaxed daytime café to a vibrant evening destination. A dedicated gelato offering adds a sense of indulgence, while rattan shades sit comfortably alongside micro-cement walls and counters. Subtle detailing throughout brings depth and character, resulting in a space that feels both effortless and considered.

An absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I came with a vision and they took it to another level. The first design they showed me turned out to be the final design as it was so amazing!
