Chummys

A visually striking traditional style bakery cafe with a contemporary edge

Following the huge success of their cookie and brownie delivery service, Chummys approached us to help design their first bricks-and-mortar café and bakery, located in Droitwich Spa.

We used a natural, refined material palette comprising warm oak, zellige checkerboard tiles and panelling in Chummys’ signature brand colours to complement the building’s existing rustic brick wall feature to create a traditional style bakery feel with a contemporary edge and create a true first home for the brand.

The counter area ensures the product takes centre stage, with a large ambient display showcasing brownies, cookies and cupcakes, while flexible rear-counter shelving provides space for freshly baked breads and bags of speciality coffee. It was also important to create a strong connection to the online delivery boxes Chummys is best known for, incorporating space for brand storytelling and promotional graphics throughout the interior.

Since opening in summer 2026, Chummys has already proved hugely popular within the local community.

Dear Coco Coffee

An absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I came with a vision and they took it to another level. The first design they showed me turned out to be the final design as it was so amazing! Kayleigh and Matt were fantastic throughout going above and beyond to achieve our opening date. Highly recommended. You get what you pay for!! Thank you guys
